The traditional Laguiole two-piece corkscrew is the iconic French knife recognized worldwide.

The corkscrew is the indispensable companion for any good living person, it is the French Swiss knife par excellence.
You can choose between forged fly or welded fly. The forged fly is a guarantee of quality and solidity. In cutlery terms, the fly is a prominence at the end of the spring that is used to lock the blade.
Over time, the Cutlers have sculpted it and transformed it into a "bee".
Our cutler craftsmen work them with a file creating a harmony with our guillochage.
Each bee and guillochage are unique.
The blade is made of sandwick 12C27 steel, known for its excellent balance between sharpness and durability, as well as its resistance to rust and corrosion.

The Robert David laguiole is handcrafted in our workshops in Thiers, it is fully customizable, choose its different components, our cutler craftsmen will do everything possible to manufacture your custom knife.
