The Sélect'® is a knife that takes the shape and characteristics of the famous Laguiole. We have equipped it with a robust blade and a thicker handle. Its 'fly' is always forged. The forged fly is a guarantee of quality and solidity. In cutlery terms, the 'fly' is a protrusion at the end of the spring that is used to lock the blade.
Over time, the Cutlers have sculpted it and transformed it into a “bee”. Our artisan cutlers work them with a file, creating a harmony with our guillochages.
Each bee and guillochage is unique.
The blade is made of sandwick 12C27 steel, known for its excellent balance between sharpness and durability, as well as its resistance to rust and corrosion.
The Robert David Select' is a pocket knife handcrafted in our workshops in Thiers, it is fully customizable, choose its different components, our artisan cutlers will do everything possible to manufacture your custom-made knife.
